Together with Official Global Eyewear Partner 100%, Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) launched an exclusive opportunity to own a piece of sports history — and support athletes with physical disabilities. The highlight: an online auction featuring two pairs of Tatis 23 Ultra-Limited Edition 24K Gold S3® Sunglasses, each designed in collaboration with San Diego Padres superstar Fernando Tatis Jr.
Crafted by 100%, these high-performance sunglasses featured 24-karat gold-coated lenses and frames, with only 50 units produced. Each pair was individually numbered and packaged in a collector’s kit, complete with commemorative cards and Fernando’s “FT” logo. Valued at $750, the limited-edition eyewear celebrated not just elite design but also a powerful cause.
The CAF-hosted online auction opened on August 17, 2021, offering two of the 50 pairs to the highest bidders. Starting at $750, all proceeds benefited the Challenged Athletes Foundation’s mission to empower individuals with physical challenges through access to adaptive sports, equipment, and community.

Each Tatis 23 Ultra-Limited S3® featured the athlete’s signature branding, a 24K lens seal, and a serialized identifier marking its exclusivity. The included commemorative package made this release a true collector’s item — only available via charitable donation.
In addition to the auction, 100% also hosted an online raffle, offering additional fans the chance to win a pair by entering for just $23. The raffle closed on August 31, 2021.
Funds raised through this collaboration support CAF’s year-round programs that provide adaptive equipment, coaching, mentorship, and community to athletes with physical disabilities across all ages and sports. For over 28 years, CAF has championed the belief that sport is a powerful tool for inclusion, confidence, and possibility.
